In Beginner Rhythm Skate Class, you'll learn a variety of rhythm skating routines and choreography. Some of the routines have a base rhythm skating pattern and then call outs off of base like “Downtown” or “G-Slide”. You'll learn how to follow the leader and understand when to execute moves. In this class we can really slow it down and drill it to build muscle memory.

Prerequisites: must be able to skate forward and backwards, stop in both directions, transition from forward-backward-forward, and hold a 1 foot glide for 5 seconds.

Skaters will master a variety of intermediate and advanced rhythm skating routines and stepping patterns. The class emphasizes group routines, partner skating, and building a library of call outs and variations for base routines "Downtown" & "G-Slide", progressing from half tempo to full tempo rather quickly.
