We are directly across the hall from Mudland Playspace.
At SOS Studio you can book time for small space practice at $3/hr. You must wear full gear, helmet, wrist guards, knee pads, and elbow pads, unless you are an intermediate skater (must be able to skate forward and backwards, stop in both directions, transition from forward-backward-forward, and hold a 1 foot glide for 5 seconds). We reserve the right to make that decision. This is not intended for skate circle rink style skating. You can set up in front of a mirror. We’ll supply you with a shelf for the peg board to hold your water bottle and prop up your phone. Or you can create your lane to practice your drill. You’ll be able to wear headphones/earbuds or you can skate to our playlist. Check out the community desk in the center of the space. Feel free to go through it and utilize anything you find to help support your skate journey. There is a spin trainer, cones, painters tape, and chalk you can borrow for practice. Please clean up and put things back when you are finished.
For $100 we offer a 30 day unlimited Studio Practice Time package. By purchasing this package, you will get a code that you can use an unlimited amount of times within 30 days to book your practice time by the hour at the studio. The code automatically expires after 30 days.
You must reserve all hours you plan to be at the studio practicing.
If you come for practice and need a little help on what to practice, you can ask an instructor for 10 minutes of their time to set you up with a drill that will support your skate goals. $10 Practice Time Drill ; Please ask for their time before booking this option.
We will always have area for Practice Studio Time even when classes are happening. When classes are going on, we will make clear the class area.
We are doing our best to be open all mall hours listed in the graphic. It might change from time to time depending availability as we are navigating this new space. We'll post on our IG page if our hours will differ from the mall hours. Please understand the staff are volunteering their time to cover the front desk so we can offer this space to the community at this time. Our goal is to be able to pay our staff a living wage to cover the front desk.
